Description Among the lush vegetation of the Serra de Sintra, in a context and unique orientation, the Quinta de São Thiago and Infanta appear. On the ground floor we find three vaults of medieval spirit, two of which ribbed and supported by stone bowls. On the upper floor we find two more vaults, these with Renaissance spirit, one with circular dome and the other dome with crate. Currently adapted to a tourist reality, the main house of Quinta de São Thiago is divided into several floors. In the basement, the floor with direct access to the pool, we have a party pavilion connected to a party bar and a pantry, with a charming porch. It is the most social part of the Quinta, where the various weddings that the Quinta receives are celebrated. At the entrance, the central floor of the ground floor, presents itself as the main guard in centenary environment to provide a unique tranquility next to the tank. On this floor we find six different rooms, some with old slab floor, four bedrooms and office with wooden floor, kitchen, laundry, pantry and the various sanitary facilities, where it is possible to enjoy various hand painted ceramic materials. On the first floor we have eight more bedrooms and two rooms, a passionate library, the chapel and the sacristy. The attic offers two more bedrooms, a living room and storage spaces. Along the almost 8.45ha, in intimate contact with nature, we follow the course of one of the tributaries of the Maças River. Here we can contemplate the bridge with a stone arch, or make a stop at the three tanks of Quinta de São Thiago, or the other two of Quinta da Infanta. The properties have been frequented for hundreds of years as retreat, meditation and pilgrimage routes, with unique places of rest, shelter and contemplation of nature.
